Famous Dave's offers an extensive array of both group and individual education, training and development options to each and every Associate on our team!
Associate Training Programs
Our Associate training focuses on practical and hands on experience. All new hourly Associates go through three to four days of training with a Certified Trainer. Your training would include all kinds of rib tips about our culture and the responsibilities of the position.
Smokin' Management Training Programs
Manager in Training - 8 week initial hands-on in restaurant program.This program is focused on hospitality, day-to-day operations, management principals, point of sale systems, safety, and security.
- Famous Dave's 101 - The program is focused on all aspects of management responsibility, with strong focuses on food, hiring, and associate development.
- Bachelor's of BBQ - This program is a self-directed program that assists managers on building their current skills and talents and developing other areas required for advancement.
- Good to Great - This program is for leadership development that helps Famous Dave's identify managers who are preparing for advancement and provide the manager with a personalized development plan to continue to challenge their strengths.
