Sunday Blues Brunch
Every Sunday from 10AM - 2PM, enjoy our Butt Rockin' Blues buffet at the Calhoun Square Famous Dave's! You'll feast on everything from our lip smackin' rib tips and double-smoked ham to made-to-order omelets and our award-winning pancakes, all while listening to Famous Live Blues. Monday Night is Swing Night
Free Swing Dance Lessons at 7:15 p.m. and Music at 8:00 p.m.
All the cats and kitties have a new hot spot for swing dancing, as Famous Dave’s turns over it’s spacious dance floor to the swing crowd. With outstanding live bands like Davina & The Vagabonds, Stockcar Named Desire, Al’s Rockabilly Quartet and more, Monday nights have become a hoofer’s paradise at Famous Dave’s. Tuesday Night is Salsa Night – Showtime is 9:00 p.m.
Featuring Sensacion Latina!
The hottest Salsa Night in the Twin Cities is found at Famous Dave’s BBQ & Blues in Calhoun Square, Minneapolis. Sensacion Latina is a seven piece band that plays a variety of Latin rhythms including Salsa, Cumbia, Merengue, Bachata, Cha-Cha and more. A Famous Dave’s weekly highlight for over seven years, Sensacion Latina gets the dancers out on the floor.
Friday & Saturday Happy Hour Music from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
There’s no happier hour than the two hours of happiness every Friday and Saturday at Famous Dave’s. Some of the Twin Cities top blues and roots musicians perform throughout our happy hour, adding a musical note to great drink specials. Some of the regular performers at our happy hours include outstanding bluesy vocalist Liz Cummings, the keyboard player you hear on Bob Dylan’s classic “Blood on the Tracks”, Gregg Inhofer (pictured at right), the barrelhouse boogie of pianist Tom Hunter, and many others. Great music, no cover, special drink prices. Cool.
