Traveling Rib Team | Famous Dave's
Famous Dave’s has a crew of traveling Pitmasters called the “Rib Team.” Each year, they engage the opposition at rib fest competitions from coast to coast. Over the years, they’ve helped us win over 500 awards, with honors such as “Best Ribs in America” and “Best BBQ”.
In 2009, our crew took home the coveted "1st Place - Critic's Choice Greatest Ribs in America" trophy from the 18th Annual Marc's Great American Rib Cook-off during Memorial Day weekend in Cleveland, OH. Additionally, our famous Rich & Sassy® sauce earned the "3rd Place - Critic's Choice Greatest Sauce in America" award at this prestigious BBQ competition.
